How to Join
Joining a clinical trial is easier than most people think. Here's exactly what happens, from the moment you reach out to the day the study ends.
The Roadmap
Every patient's journey looks a little different — but these are the five milestones you'll pass through with MedX.
Fill out our short form, call us, or email us. Tell us a little about yourself and the conditions you're interested in. Someone from our team will call you back to learn more about your health and let you know whether a current study might be a fit. No commitment — just a conversation.
If a study looks like it could be a match, we'll invite you to our site for a brief pre-screening visit to confirm you qualify. You'll be compensated for your time and travel — even at this stage.
If the pre-screening confirms you're eligible, we'll move into the full screening visit on the same day. The study coordinator will walk you through the informed consent document so you understand exactly what the trial compensation is, along with the risks, benefits, and what's expected of you. Once you sign, you're officially enrolled and your study visits begin. You can change your mind at any time, for any reason.
You attend regular study visits at our site. You receive the study medication (or placebo, depending on the trial) and undergo comprehensive health monitoring — labs, ECGs, vitals, and any other tests the protocol calls for. All study-related care is provided at no cost to you, and you're paid for every visit with travel and time reimbursement. Your coordinator checks in between visits and is always reachable.
When the study ends, you'll have a final visit and sometimes a follow-up call a few weeks later. You can request a summary of the study findings. And you'll know you helped advance medicine for every patient who comes after you.
